Good grief, now this is what I call tiny pictures! Will prioritize it, along with "Funeral in Berlin". |

Harry Palmer turns into a bespectacled James Bond minus crazy gadgets but complete with a silly opening credits sequence, one of the worst villains I've ever seen, and a thoroughly demented, nonsensical plot. Obnoxiously loud, too. I guess this is what you get when you force a movie down the throat of a director who couldn't be less interested. Third in the series and the proverbial utter and complete turd. Every scene of this movie made me want to watch Funeral in Berlin again. I knew the movie was going to be rubbish when they "spelled" billion this way in the opening credits: My feeling of impending doom was cemented by the scene in which Harry, the shrewdest of all spies having just found a dead boy, elected to make a phone call with his back to the door. Pull the other one! Anyway, the original near-thumbnails replaced with full size caps from HD in dire need of remastering. bonus two-door Ford wagon: bonus blurry off-road things: bonus blurry tug for mike962: bonus sampling of the bad guys' many ski doos: bonus locomotives: bonus nepotism: (this be Stanley Caine, Michael's brother) bonus Donald Sutherland in a bit with one line (but he's also the annoying voice of the computer): bonus Françoise Dorleac in her last movie: bonus Susan George eating an orange and speaking only what may or may not be Latvian: |
