Tim Rose - great name - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHm_8EZ1rJE (song starts about 1:30) and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCob_uRiOv8 (youtube does not offer enough of his stuff). Unless you know any better UPO 670 has disappeared - not showing on plate check sites for an MG nor as a transfer to anything else. -- Last edit: 2011-06-16 00:56:19 |

Hello dsi as I understand it dont the canadians have there own plates, the owner in canada stayed in contact with us for a few years afterwards who told us she was in equus, when he bought her she was issued with another number but he applied and kept the english number in the end,its a shame I havent got the chassis number. |

@dsl: Equus was filmed in Canada because Richard Burton was a "tax exile" i.e. he avoided tax by staying outside the UK. The Magnette was exported to Canada in 1972, five years before the film was made. The fact that it was exported so long ago would explain why the registration number doesn't show up. @tim rose: A little googling for MG clubs in Canada throws up the North American MGA Register: http://www.namgar.com/ They cover Magnettes too, so they might be a good starting point for tracing your car. -- Last edit: 2011-06-16 13:33:31 |

I did not realise they had colour films in 1872 ... The rest of this makes more sense now. For Tim-Rose, the UPO 670 plate was issued in January 1956, West Sussex. |
