I've added a picture of our car, the Rover P6 2000TC which was used as an escort vehicle behind the Scania, in the reconstruction of the silver bullion robbery scene. The colour is Almond and the car is affectiately called 'The General'. It was built with part German specification and was a direct factory export to General Sir John Archer, who was serving with the British Army in Germany in 1972. This car is well known within the membership of the Rover P6 Club. |
