It is 1973-74 'M' registration. Yes, the wind screens look very similar. |

Looks more Bedford to me - definitely not Bristol |

The instrument panel cowl is just visible through the windscreen. It is similar to a Bedford design (but not 100% conclusive). The turn signals on the side of the cab are not typically Bedford and I cannot remember where I have seen them before but possibly they are from a known coach manufacturer. |

The turn signals look Bristol RELL fittings http://bus.fotopic.net/p8218664.html |

Turn-signals are actually different to that on the Bristol. Not tapered top and bottom but wider at the top tapering to the bottom. I found an example on Marshall bodied bus. See the centre bus here.... http://nationalbusco.fotopic.net/p19220016.html I'm thinking it's a Marshall bodied Bedford. -- Last edit: 2007-05-27 17:58:55 |

Grille looks like the one on this ex-police Duple-bodied Bedford VAS: http://www.bedfordgathering.com/wakefield/wld482g.htm |

It won't be a Bristol RE, can't see them using a 33+ foot long rear engined chassis, It'll have a front Engine a la Bedford or Ford |
