@Lateef: Since this is a fake British scene filmed in Australia, the number plate could just be a prop. It's not mounted in the usual position, which makes me suspicious. ![]() |

Maybe the plate came with the taxi as it was shipped over, as it looks real enough. |

Is the grille normal? Gap to bonnet edge looks odd? |

Filmed in Melbourne. Could be this exact car: http://www.shannons.com.au/auctions/lot/A1CJ65BLL11DDAC6/ |

I would say that is correct |

Almost the same but there are differences between the taxis... Movie car has wing mounted mirrors both sides whereas the auction car has driver's side door mirror by the A pillar, plus single wing mirror on other side and radio aerial not seen. -- Last edit: 2014-01-03 12:38:48 |

Chrome bumpers = before 1986. -- Last edit: 2014-01-04 03:38:07 |

Bumper looks fake, the bumpers fitted to the taxis had over riders missing here. Interesting that the car in Kegare's link shows the same non-standard wheel trims and bumper. B92XJD is a cab exported in 1997, I think the plate is genuine so listing as 1984 Carbodies FX4R. |
