I'm thinking that it's a U.S. spec one by the headlights and side markers. -- Last edit: 2017-12-10 00:38:56 |

It has a Curaçao number plate but appears with the right hand drive Bedford J2. /vehicle_1093641-Bedford-J2-1959.html Perhaps some Curaçao scenes were faked in Antigua... |

... and by the bumper overrider too. For the record, the dual headlights were rounded on Northern American models. The European 1974+ luxury TX version had dual square headlamps. North American version indeed: according to r16site.com: • 1968-72 as US model, • dates not given for the Canadian version. The only hint is "late models", as earlier models had single headlamps. Possibly made in Québec, from the text. r16site.com gives it also the [R1152] model code, when a US version. Called Sedan-Wagon in USA: (1968 Brochure cover) Should we add it as part of the name or just as complement? _____ Weird ad, apparently specifically made for the US market due to the US model shown all along the "story"... -- Last edit: 2017-12-16 11:56:51 |
