The 6x6 version see - /vehicle_693247-AEC-6x6--Matador--O854-1940.html |

Chassis looks to be AEC 6x6 'Matador' but re-cabbed or modified? The cab is built slightly forward with a slight front overhang rather than an exposed mudguard. The door is placed well forward with a fixed glass behind (and not in front), the windscreen is not slanted at the lower edge and the radiator is shorter. -- Last edit: 2017-08-13 14:51:54 |

You are right , cab, radiator , fuel tank looks like a Crossley 4x4. They never made a 6x6. I wonder if this is a Crossley 4x4 with a tag axle added ? ![]() -- Last edit: 2017-08-13 17:25:19 |

Enhancing the picture I am 99% sure this is a Crossley 4x4 with tag axle added. -- Last edit: 2017-08-13 17:37:18 |

If you look at the poster in the film page I think you might fill in the odd 1 percent! |

Front scuttle panel and other features confirm it is the Crossley Q Type - cab designs are variable as there were three different manufacturers. |
