Later Is 3 lights proof of A35 rather than A30?? No other view of the big Bedford in main. |

The youngest A30 would have been 50 years old when the film was made. An A35 could have been a mere stripling of 38 or 39. If you called it an A35 on numbers built and attrition rate, I, for one, wouldn’t argue. |

Partially seen Bedford is likely to be an old friend the 1955 Bedford S-type NYR947. Its just possible, but by no means certain, the Austin van as here /vehicle_781925-Austin-A35-Van-AV8-1962.html UXG980, an Austin A35 (Light Van) Vehicle details make AUSTIN Date of first registration 19 November 1962 Year of manufacture 1962 Cylinder capacity (cc) 1098cc Vehicle colour GREEN |

- check the plate on the (1959) Minx - UXG 933. xXG 123 plates were Middlesborough/Teesside but seem to have stopped at SXG, so we've probably stumbled on a DVLA retro series which will contain vehicles of varying ages within similar numbering. Given some of the vehicle sourcing for this film, I'm tempted by the possibility this is UXG 980, so entering it to make a connection (which can always be broken if someone comes forward and says it's a different A35). |
