Morris Major/Austin Lancer is the Aussie/NZ name for the British Wolseley 1500..thats whats in the pic, the Lancer/Major was never sold in the UK. |

Nice work! So you don't think any of these are worth listing? What makes these cars different from the average background car is that these are all period cars from 20 years before the film was made (not hugely old at the time), and they were deliberately put on the set to recreate the time period, so they were properly chosen for the film, whereas some other people's background cars are more random (sometimes it's any car that happens to pass by in the background) because the film was set at the time it was made. |

Thanks, but that doesn't take that long. Next time I'll check my watch, but I guess it's just ten minutes ... at least a lot shorter than finding the name of a rare vehicle. I personally would place them in the comments, as these cars, though deliberately chosen, as you said, are not extremely rare. Not for period films nor for a new film with a period setting. But I would like to see the picture, as it is nice. I would do the same with what I call half-star-cars, i.e. those that just happen to drive by in the background, if they have a certain interest. I try to do that for the films I list, with some exceptions for very old films or very rare vehicles. |

If the film was set in 1969 the 1952 Velox was also rare as most had rusted away within 10 years..... |
