I keep leaning towards some GM "Advanced Design" model, even possibly a Bedford or Holden. |

I don't think I've seen this before but looks like a Bedford A-type (1953 to 1957) 10/15cwt Pickup & Chassis probably for Export or Australia assembly only. Only really aware of it as a later J-type (which its not) but very low sales in the UK. |

Confirmed the shorter wheelbase chassis for the Bedford A type Pickup did exist in the UK. |

Not surprised they didn’t sell many. (Esp. in U.K.) There seems to be more cab than truck, why not buy a CA pickup? The CA would have a 1508cc four cylinder, the A-type a 3ish litre six, which would probably use about twice as much juice to shift the same load. -- Last edit: 2020-06-21 14:15:16 |
