'DGH 251' to 'DGH 300' 1936 Austin 12/4 Taxi Low-Loader, no other movie appearances found so far. Any more views to show the extent of the body alterations? I think it's more than just the addition of a passenger side door. |

Thanks JCB. The usual landaulette body, normal driver's door and rain deflector, new passenger door (shorter at the bottom to avoid the luggage platform?), at the rear sixth-lights added probably eliminating the folding hood section. No roof rack. |

After the B pillar it has a lot in common with the Provincial 'Saloon' bodied taxi however the front section and the fact it was registered by Mann & Overton for London use, rules out a provincial taxi. Not all London's Austin taxis were of the usual landaulette type, the Cape body for example, but the Saloon style was probably very rare. |
