EV is part of the model name. Trim levels are Edition 1, 3X, 2X, and 2. https://www.gmc.com/electric-truck/hummer-ev/reserve-now |

I never thought GM would bring back the Hummer name. |

I can’t believe that somebody got money for “designing” that hideous pile of excrement. All it seems to want to achieve is to intimidate the driver in front. “Hey, you! I weigh 5 tonnes and I’ve got 900bhp. Get out of my way or I’ll flatten you.” -- Last edit: 2023-05-12 10:29:52 |

Perhaps watching a video about the original Hummer, which this is meant to succeed, will give you an idea of what it's about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZG5dVSRm-I The times of Hummer being an symbol of ugly materialism is over. On another topic: Have you by chance ever seen or driven a CDSW Morris in traffic? Exactly. -- Last edit: 2023-05-12 15:02:58 |

that's pretty much how any SUV/pick-ups drivers think.. but at the same time i know they don't want to damage their precious little toy on a tiny little Versa like mine.. ![]() as for materialism, you still need 100K to get one so nothing really changed here.. ![]() -- Last edit: 2023-05-12 14:36:25 |

Gamer - CDSW? I have skippered a GKN Defence Saxon Armoured Personnel Carrier through Wolverhampton at knocking off time, is that the same? |

No, that's a little out of size. Point is, it's not meant for the streets (but people will probably take it there anyway). The reason it's so big is because you wouldn't be able to scale a 45° wall or 60 cm of sand if it wasn't. |

In respect of out of size vehicles, Mme. and I were waiting in the parking queue at the local hospital two days ago. It is an open air car park controlled by barriers that swing up when you put your token into a slot. A woman driving a pickup with a four person cab was having trouble getting into a rather tight parking space near the barrier. The vehicle demolished the out barrier, bounced over the kerb and she found that she could not park in the space anyway. Fortunately an attendant was around, and someone drove away from a space that she could get into. I was directed to use an even smaller space at the far end, next to a large SUV. The C-class just fitted. By the time of our return the barrier had been fixed and the pickup had gone. Presumably the barriers are designed to be easy to fix. -- Last edit: 2023-05-12 16:53:57 |
