Standard possibly?![]() It has a divided rear window similar to an Austin when interior shots are shown. ![]() Also possibly shown here in the centre in another scene. edit picture deleted and moved to Rover P1 listing following chris40's comments. -- Last edit: 2007-12-31 22:05:47 |

I think the main picture is a 1936 Standard Flying Fourteen, but the centre one in the thumbnail is a 1939 P1 Rover, probably a 12 h.p. |

I was going to agree with the Standard Flying Fourteen, but their are details that don't match. Windows with upper vent panes and the divided rear window also I am less certain about the radiator being a Standard with the Ensign mascot on the top (not a rounded 'waterfall' type grille).... needs more investigation I believe. -- Last edit: 2007-12-31 22:03:52 |

I'm not convinced myself now. How about a 1936 Standard Twenty like this one? http://www.standardmotorclub.org.uk/images/flying/36f20sal.jpg |

For a brief moment this car's plate is shown to be FK 8117:![]() It has also been seen here and here, but as a 1937 Standard Flying Fourteen. |

1937 Standard Flying Fourteen from the registration looks to be valid here given the poor quality of the images. |
