It’s a 6/99 not a 15/60.

6/99 should have visible reverse clusters incorporated in the tail lights :??:

:??: How can I put this tactfully to someone who's (probably) balder than me ... um ... maybe try adjusting your screen settings?? I'm happy it's local build ADO9 as entered, but spent several minutes trying to establish if it could be the Aus-only 24/80 six cylinder S1. And it seems not

jimjarron wrote This is not a 24/80 Mark I but is rather the earlier 15/60. The bodies of the two models are virtually identical (until you look under the bonnet!), there only being two noticeable differences. One is that the 24/80 had two jacking points as opposed to the 15/60's one (unfortunately not clear in this still, as the sill is in shadow). The other difference is that the 24/80 had a badge in chromed script in the upper part of the front wing, near the driver's door, which read "Wolseley Six". This car does not have that badge. Also, the 24/80 was only available in monotone finishes, aside from twelve or so cars that were a special order for a dealer in Queensland, and had white roofs. The finish on this car was, in Australia, only applied to the 15/60.

from here

So 15/60 confirmed, which in Aus always had the 1622cc engine, so in theory should have been called 16/60 but wasn't.

In which case, why does it appear to have 6/99 back doors?

You don’t have to worry about tact with me, since I adopt a policy of being as rude as possible to everyone all the time.
