No doubt it's a post-war European Ford. Could be a British Thames Trader or a German FK 4500? |

This is a front view from my freebie DVD: It looks more like a Thames Trader than the FK, although the badging's different. Compare with Link to "www.hankstruckpictures.com" |

Nice to see the front, and nice to see that my idea wasn't too wrong (since normally I don't know much about trucks...). The Thames Trader would have 'Trader' in the grille (and the grille would be a bit more painted white) but it's rather close. |

This seems to be the front view of the FK, which ceased production in 1961 because it proved unreliable: Production was then transferred to the UK, which suggests that this is British-made, probably rebadged for export to Morocco (and elsewhere). -- Last edit: 2008-04-05 22:38:38 |

In 1965 both the 'Thames' brand and the 'Trader' model name were dropped so its a 1965 Ford K-Series [640E] http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2841984420078404180byzHrc |
