Why do you think this is a 264 DL? I highly believe this is a pre 1978 264 GL as it has two round headlights and a chromed grill, the latter never originally fitted to the DL. (That is that it has never been changed. But if so it makes this identifying job rather difficult - some changes the badges as well...) |

The 264 didn't come in DL trim in the US. |

The answer to that was given here: /vehicle.php?id=13721 It was 5 years ago and I didn´t know that this colour could be available on a 264, it was then and still is difficult to find original publishings to see what was offered. So when I saw this car, obviously new due to filmdate, my guess was that it would be a DL, due to the paint, at that point. But since we now have more info it´s obvious that it´s a GL |
