Hmm, did those Toyotas really have V8? -- Last edit: 2008-09-08 14:36:46 |

Its also briefly seen at the end of Finding Nemo (2003) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0266543/ Its one of those film gimmicks from Disney/Pixar ... (Its been seen in a number of Disney/Pixar films) |

I've seen it in Toy Story, Toy Story 2 (where the owner's manual identifies it as a "1978 Gyoza" (I know a Gyoza is a meat dumpling; it's a joke)), A Bug's Life, and WALL-E. I've also heard it appears briefly in Ratatouille. I never knew it was in Finding Nemo, though. |

I guess Pixar is a fan of the 1984 Toyota Truck |

I know you say that as a joke, but actually the mid to late ‘80s Toyota Truck has a cult like following. They are very loved pickups, The Japanese built them well, and it shows. |

Well of course it's built well, everything Toyota is built far superior to any other manufacturer (with the exception of the V6 model Camrys, they are horrible) |

It's also in Monster's Inc, when the monsters are chasing each other through all the doors, and one of them ends up in the trailer park, it is seen parked beside the trailer. It is one of Pixar's trademarks that is apparently placed somewhere in every movie they make. |

Maybe the motor was rebulit in let's say, 2500 A.D. since this takes place in 2815 A.D. Shouldn't this be listed as a 1978 like this one since it's the same? /vehicle_221196-Toyota-Truck-1978.html -- Last edit: 2009-05-07 03:39:54 |

This is a 1978 model, not a 1984 model. |

And on that note, there's a much higher-quality version of this picture here: http://i41.tinypic.com/m8febn.png |

In Toy Story, it is called a "Gyoza" truck instead of Toyota. |

In "A Bug´s Life" is seen when Flick is walking to the city and pass right a trailer, that is the same as "Monster´s INC" |

Yeah,it is true,my brother had spotted it but I think that you need to zoom the image to see the car, althoug is seen in "Finding Nemo" when Nemo is following the black and white fish advice it is seen in front of the bag,Luigi its also visible in the end when "Pitch" the starfish is jumping into the sea,the Toyota truck is seen in all Pixar movies,in "The Incredibles" game is seen on the mission "Late for school" I think that in the movie is seen too,I dont remember but when I see it again I will post another coment telling the ubication |

How has it stayed in one piece after 700 years? |
◊ 2019-05-05 03:59 |
it did even better than the Top Gear's one |

This Toyota would've been 120+ years by the time the world collapsed. |
