Not an RT, I think. Maybe an STL, 1945 Regent II with Weymann body, but I'm open to correction. |

And can it was a RLH of London LPTB? |

Could be, true. This is what suggested an STL to me: http://www.countrybus.org/NF2005/STL2692c.jpg SteveA? ![]() |

I answer in french, sorry! RLH = carrosserie Weymann -- Last edit: 2008-11-28 19:21:28 |

My only comments to add. It appears not to have a rear platform, so is it front entrance? Also has it got a type of 'Green Lines' logo - looks slightly familiar? edit: found as the "London Country" livery from 1970-72. -- Last edit: 2008-11-28 20:07:40 |

@fsebus: probablement tu as raison. L’aspect avant m’a distrait, sans doute caractéristique de la carrosserie Weymann. Contrairement à toi, je ne suis pas spécialiste en autobus! ![]() @Sunbar: I think the rear entrance has been blanked off, and there appears to have been a central entrance installed. |

I see also some windows are panelled over... Could it be RLH44, registered MXX 244 (as suggested by fsebus)? "September 1970 transfer for conversion (Reigate) by Brewster's (Wrotham): most windows panelled, roof skylights, fluoresent lighting from shore supply: mobile uniform store March 1971 used by London Country as mobile uniform store 581J, matt olive green April 1982 withdrawn: transfer to Stevenage as office during rebuilding work, from 1983 onwards in preservation various owners." The description and being used by London Country in 1971 appears to be correct. source: http://www.countrybus.org.uk/RLH/RLHa.html#fleet Edit: Picture of actual bus as found here... ![]() http://southerncounties.org.uk/busandcoach/rlh/rlh44.htm Also here in 2008 showing the nearside and repainted by the latest bus operator "Timebus", for special occasion hire, therefore no longer in London Country livery. http://tynetransport.fotopic.net/p52850244.html -- Last edit: 2008-11-29 14:26:58 |
