I was ready to call this a Chevy Nova, but something gave me doubts. |

I'd say '67 Galaxie. lh3.ggpht.com/_FvHjY1xLpMA/RpBc3yfXp5I/AAAAAAAABHQ/mj27SUAMwy0/IMG_3064.jpg |

I think Novas always had round gas caps; this one is square. I agree with 1967 Ford. |

All Novas I have found have round gas caps and in the 1967 Galaxie Convertible is, as in the pic, square. |

Anybody consider the Fairlane? The front end doesn't look sharp enough to be any '67 full-size Ford. |

I don't see a fill cover here: www.dbmotorsports.net/Quickstart/ImageLib/67_Ford_Conv._(148).jpg community.webshots.com/photo/fullsize/2492308810010957762FjmgGO The vehicle in question has a model badge on the rear fender so it's certainly not a Custom, their badges were on the front. -- Last edit: 2009-01-21 17:23:36 |

I'm pulling images from this movie now, and it's most definitely a 1967 Ford Galaxie or Galaxie 500 convertible. Brian Keith drives it throughout the movie and you can see several shots of identifying taillights, grille, hubcaps, etc. The problem with the image is that this is a widescreen movie and the image isn't at the correct aspect ratio, so it looks like a shorter car (Comet? Nova?) than the Galaxie it most definitely is. -- Last edit: 2009-08-15 17:43:09 |
