About 10,000 were imported by Malcolm Bricklin, but they weren't a big success. Apparently, some of them spent years sitting on dealer lots before being sold. Definitely a rare find. |

In 1993 I have seen a few of them on the legendary VW-junkyard in Alamogordo/New Mexico. Except a plenty of VW's the guy also had a few other cars, like these Subaru's. I remember also a Fiat 1500 Convertible. |

I think in the last 35 yrs,I've seen maybe three. And two didn't run!! (They were sitting up somewhere,one I saw most was behind an old gas station/garage on a '75 plate? For like 15 yrs!!) |
