Yes from what is visible 1968 Austin FX4 taxi (if not it would be the much rarer FL2 (hire car) version).

Fairly late one - bumper, side indicators, wheel/hubcap pattern. Maybe after Austin??

A presumed, restored and preserved cab in Australia is likely to be difficult to date.

The lack of sidelights in the top of the wing is confirmation of the revised version after 1968.

The bumper is unusual in lacking the normal chrome over-riders, but other than that looks like an early FX4 to me.

The side marker lamps appeared soon after 1968, edit: within a year /vehicle_62615-Austin-FX4-1969.html ) also before 1972 as here /vehicle.php?id=690793

The hub caps look right (I guess the early Austin ones had the script 'A' on them but not easy to see here).

I'm fairly sure there was a late phase - maybe 1980s - for particularly this wheel style with small plain hubcap and the shiny grey paint which is almost luminous - different from the matt grey used previously. And I think it came without bumper over-riders.....

But I can't find a comparison - we've got some, but I can't find where to look.

There may have been a short period without the chrome over-riders but I am not aware of it.

It would presumably be about 1974. The metal tooling needed retooling then and to avoid the high tooling cost rubber over-riders were tooled (at a lower cost) and fitted.

The chrome bumpers went the same way years later so again possibly the rubber over-riders were deleted for a short period before the rolled steel bumpers were used?

This scene was a reenactment of the New Zealand members of the Mr. Asia Syndicate meeting in the UK that occurred in London in May 1979.

In reality, after the discovery of the bodies of Clark's associates and drug couriers, Doug and Isabel Wilson in a grave in bushland in Victoria on the 18th May 1979, Clark suspected that the detectives investigating the Wilsons murders were onto him and other members of the Mr. Asia Syndicate, resulting in Clark and other members of the Mr. Asia Syndicate to close down the Mr. Asia Australian importation network.

After closing down the Australian importation ring, Clark and other members of the Mr. Asia Syndicate took this opportunity to set up another importation network extending from the Golden Triangle into the UK and possible into Europe.
