I think this is an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme |

I'd say Calais, the old Supreme was a much larger vehicle and the W-body had very different lines. This look N-body'ish. |

It's not a W-body Cutlass Supreme as the rear window on those are slanted not vertical. The rear window on the N body Calais is vertical like this one but the quarter windows are not right. Also not a A-body Ciera as the rear window on those is also slanted. It's obviously not an Toronado or Firenza. I am running out of Oldsmobile coupes here. -- Last edit: 2009-10-31 13:03:04 |

I think it is actually a Cutlass Ciera but I am trying to find confirmation (I was looking at a 91 which had a slanted rear window but this may be older) I am pretty sure it is an 82-85 -- Last edit: 2009-10-31 13:14:20 |

You're right, a 1982-1986 Cutlass Ciera coupe. The ornamentation should enable an enthusiast to indentify the trim package and model year. EDIT: With this rear end 1985-1986 -- Last edit: 2009-10-31 13:15:07 |

where are cieraguy and taxiguy when we need them? |

Why? With you & Bravada it is not enough? You seem to have identified it... |

yes we did indeed figure it out but these particular cars are not my forte. |

It is a 1985 because of the tail light styling... the reverse lights and tail lights were different than older versions. Also 1986 brought the more rounded roof line (Ciera exclusive) for the coupe. After doing some research, the half-vinyl roof makes me think this is the Holiday Coupe edition. |
