A little tip: The 1975 4-Door Buick Electra 225 Limited was the longest four-door hardtop GM ever made. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buick_Electra#1971_.E2.80.94_1976 ![]() |

Were these all that common back in the day? I rarely ever seen full-size Buicks from the mid-70s, as opposed to far more I see from the early-70s and 1977+ onwards. That's supported by the very small number of 75-76 Buicks listed here on IMCDb as well, where as there are many more from <1974 and 1977+. Maybe an effect of the gas crisis. |

Having been there and done that (1975 LeSabre) I can tell you '75/'76 full-sized Buicks were quite common at the time. But they were introduced practically simultaneously with the arab oil embargo and began disappearing at a faster than average rate. |

Most of the GM full-size sedans/wagons if that era were used in demo derbies. Drivers love them and the Chrysler sedans/wagons of the same era the most.for smashing up. Sad but true. |
