Dodge Colt/Mitsubishi Mirage? |
Gomselmash11 ◊ 2010-01-18 22:16 |
maybe a 90's Ford Escort, rare... |

It's def not an Escort (The NA version Escort looks nothing like this) It is a Mirage or one of the Chrysler rebadges...which is more likely in Canada? |

according to Wikipedia the Mitsubishi marque wasn't sold in Canada until 2003 and these were sold as Dodge/Plymouth Colts there only |

That doesn't seem plausible, and there was also an Eagle Summmit version. |

what doesn't seem plausible bh?? If you are talking about Mitsubishi not being sold in Canada see here: http://www.cbr.ca/CompanyProfile.aspx?CompanyID=7847 anyway with no hood emblem I am going to say that this is more likely a 1993-1994 Plymouth Colt than the Dodge or Eagle versions. -- Last edit: 2010-01-18 22:52:10 |

The "Harvard Sq." bus appears to be a genuine Boston bus. See my comment at /vehicle_272850.html |

Does Canada just have a really friendly unofficial import policy? Because I found plenty of Mitsubishis from before 2003 on AutoTrader.ca. |

As I said, if the bus is a fake it's a very good one. I think this is a real location in Boston or, more likely, Cambridge, given the Harvard destinations on both buses. |

You can find plenty of Isuzu Bighorns in Canada also even though it was only sold in Japan, I don't know what Canada's import policy is as I don't live there, but I know that is way more lenient than the US's (but then so is just about every other country). But as the link I posted states Mitsubishis were not OFFICIALLY sold in Canada until 2002. Is it possible that this is a Mirage that was privately imported to Canada? sure but it just as likely to be the Plymouth Colt. as to Gag Halfrunt's comment If this Is in the US then it could also be a Mirage or a Plymouth Colt....or a Dodge or Eagle with the front emblem removed but there is no way to tell from this angle so we might as well leave it as the Plymouth esp since there are no others on the site. |
