PAC 75 has been unlicenced since 1987 probably scrapped. Date of First Registration 14 05 1954 Year of Manufacture not available from DVLA, so likely to be 1954. Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2286CC. Its often said that something like 75% of all Land Rovers made are still running! But this one probably didn't make it unless its working purely off-road. |

That is quite interesting. I should have checked DVLA before writing my comment. I can definitely say that the rear lights are from 1955 -- strange to see those being mounted when the original ones were just a year or two old. The engine capacity as given by DVLA is not for the original engine. At that time 2 litre engines were used. The 2¼ l engine was introduced with the Series II in 1958. But quite a few Series I were converted in later life to the bigger engine, some even to the 3½ l V8. |
