Edit: owner must have upgraded the personalized plate. This one was first registered in 1994. Interesting. Not an EH6. Also, wow brand brand new! JHMEG21900S200339 Brand HONDA Name CIVIC CRX Manufactured 1994 Engine B16A2 Transmission 5MT Doors 2 -- Last edit: 2024-06-16 16:46:47 |

![]() The checkhistory link for CRX 16V ^^ has several intriguing titbits Number plate CRX 16V Trim CRX VTI ER Colour Green Vehicle History: Number of owners: 4 1994 Manufactured 1994-08 Putting into circulation 1994-08-02 First registration 🇬🇧 2008-01-18 Number plate change From: M230 TSC To: JUI 7447 2014-07-14 Number plate change From: JUI 7447 To: M230 TSC 2015-01-07 Number plate change From: M230 TSC To: CRX 16V So let's imagine that in 1993 there was a blue CRX making its screen debut with the CRX 16V plate, maybe a Honda UK PR car or just a dedicated owner. No further trace what happened to it. Then in 1994 a gleaming green CRX hit the road with M230 TSC (a normal issue Edinburgh plate). In 2008 it was sold to a new owner - maybe named Julie or Julian?? - who fixed a personal plate. In 2014 Julie/Julian sold it but kept their special plate for their new toy (no trace now of what it was) so it regained its original ID as M230 TSC before being sold again. Its new custodian got hold of the CRX 16V plate somehow and transferred it on to his/her green pride and joy where it lived a presumably happy life at least until the trail expires in 2017 - DVLA list it as still existing today, but SORN. All of which means 2 CRXs wore the plate - an initial blue one as seen, and then some years later the green one which possesses the plate record. CRX arrived here June 92 as 1.6 ESi (123bhp discontinued Feb 98) and 1.6 VTi (158bhp, discontinued Feb 95) - both were 16v. The green one is listed as VTi and fits the date range, but the blue one could have been either version. Other narratives may be possible. |

Maybe the (written) movie release date is too early. ![]() |
