Confirming DynaMike's comment. It was rather confusing even at the time because of 'Buick's Opel' and 'Opel by Buick' but it was always heavily advertised that they were GM's German imports sold by Buick. The German Opels were sold as the 'Opel' brand by Buick dealerships it was advertised as both the Opel 1900 Sport Coupe and Opel Manta in the early 1970s. |
