In Poland it might be RN with optional/not original hubs. |

Trim level RN (black bumpers). I think hubs were stock for all trim levels. |

They all had black bumpers back then. RT had foglamps, this was the only difference in case of the bumper. RN had small hub covers, at least in 1998/99. -- Last edit: 2013-02-20 17:39:22 |

There were also RTE and RXE models. Do you know what the additional "E" meant? I had a 00' Renault Clio RTE and always wondered what the difference was. |

They had to be added later. At start "Polish" Kangoo was available as: passenger - RN (1.2, 1.4, 1.9D) and RT (1.4) Express - RL (625kg - 1.2, 1.9D), RN (625kg - 1.4) and RN+ (800kg - 1.4) Unfortunately I do not know what the letter "E" means in this case. Maybe someone else will be helpful. French claim, that RT was the French market base model and RTE was in the middle of the range... But not sure if it isn't a typo. Our base model of Clio II (in the very first years at least) was called RN (1.2 and 1.4). Was your car orignally a Polish model? Did you compare specifications of the Clios RT and RTE? For example in Laguna I, RTE replaced the RT, but seems it was not the same in case of the Clio II - as I see there are "Clios RT" from the 2000 as well as RTEs from 1999. -- Last edit: 2013-05-10 19:26:18 |

No, my Clio was bought new in France, then crashed with 300km on the odometer after tailgating another car. I bought the Clio, took it to Poland, repaired it and drove for 10 years as a second car, changing only oil (2 times) and battery. In 2010 I sold it away with 81.000km and the new owner crashed it soon afterwards. Its dual airbags were never repaired after the original crash (they were unavailable in 2000 as used, and new cost a fortune). It was powered by 1.2 engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It cost an equivalent of 27.000 złoty as crashed in France. New 00' Clio 1.2 RTE cost 50.000 złoty in Poland at the time. I remember that basic model was "RN" in mk2 Clio, and "RL" in mk1 Clio. I also remember that they charged ~5000zł for air conditioning. -- Last edit: 2013-05-11 09:53:32 |

Jak francuski, to może to co tam napisali ma zastosowanie... A tak z ciekawości - jeśli to nie sekret - za ile poszedł w 2010? |
