The bus it`s a unique MAN bus made in 1973 as a gift to Ceausescu when Romania bought the rights to built trucks and buses under MAN licence. This bus was the presidential caravan but made in 26 years only 10.000 km. The interior was made by Emmelmann. From 1999 this bus it`s owned by Castel Films from Romania and it`s rooms are used by actors when chaging. -- Last edit: 2010-03-22 19:03:46 |

More photos here : http://apps.ines.ro/Cars/Bus/index.html It's wrongly called "Ellman" but the "Emmelmann" badge is clearly visible. |

That site isn't reliable; it lists the Paykan given by the Shah of Iran as a Hillman. http://www.paykanhunter.com/2010/06/ceausescus-paykan.html -- Last edit: 2016-04-25 12:56:47 |

Nice close-up photos of the Paykan badges though. If you can see them, because the links lead to pics of the VW 181. But here's the correct link : http://apps.ines.ro/cgi/show.cgi?dir=/Cars/Hilman/&file=12.jpg |
