Dodge front clip on a Plymouth body. Normally I'd say Kingsway, but the trim seems to suggest a Canadian 1959 Dodge Regent. I don't know what name they would have used in Mexico. Plodges are confusing. -- Last edit: 2011-04-04 22:01:07 |

It may not necessarilty be Canadian. Here in NZ our Dodge Kingsways were Detroit-built. If you check the serial number lists for Dodge there is a gap each year of a few thousand in the sequence which they used for the export cars. I agree that plodges are confusing - we had them sourced from Canada, the US and Australia. There is also thought that our 1952 DeSoto Diplomats came from Belgium as several I have seen have Belgian markings on the window glass. -- Last edit: 2011-04-04 23:01:26 |

^No. No it is not. I'm going to go with Kingsway, because I can't find any evidence the Regent name was used outside Canada. There's a handy chart at http://www.allpar.com/world/plymouth.html but I'm not sure how complete it is. |
