Holden? |

No, as Holden wasn't ever sold in Europe, especially not in the COMECON. P.S. And this car is LHD. -- Last edit: 2012-01-08 16:43:39 |

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/ae/Holden_HR_Panel_Van.JPG Looks very similar to me, though. |

Agreed. The door profile, glass shape, door lock, louvres in side panel are exactly as the Holden and quite different to Rekord A/B. |

How came this car to Europe, especially Czechoslovakia? ![]() |

Individual import most probably. |

We've had Greek Holdens in LHD eg /vehicle.php?id=455934 and an advert with interesting list of Holden export territories for reference - on Link to "forum.ejehclubqld.com" - nothing directly for CH, but may contain this car's route. -- Last edit: 2012-01-09 17:52:44 |

As car similar to Opel Rekord, there is also the Ranger make from GM, as these were mostly for Belgium & Switzerland. (no idea if it would match, it is just a hint, as that may be more "common" than a LHD Holden) |

No, the Ranger (both Mk I en Mk II) shared its body panels with the Opel Rekord/Commodore, except for the front grille and headlights. It was assembled in Antwerp, Belgium and also sold in the Netherlands, but sales figures were low. |
