Actually the bumpers suggest it is at least second generation, the early ones had bumpers like the Silver Cloud had, so it could very well be Corniche II, though the rims do suggest it's a I, from the II it had different wheels, with visible perforations |

1979+ RR Corniche Series II due to headlights wipers, avaible since mid-1978. The "Corniche II" name is reserved for 1986-1990 cars only. |

I do not think it is useful to put a "series" in addition of the I/II of the models: years are enough for that. It is wrongly used on some cars, the purpose of that field is to separate (European) cars with share the same name for different models and which are known by their generation number. -- Last edit: 2010-05-21 16:26:26 |
