Could this be unrestored version?

I remember reading about this car, which was found in the Russian Far East. (A Soviet officer probably took it as war booty in Manchuria or Korea.) It's said to be a Toyota AA, although the bodyshell is the only original part. Everything else is "self-cobbled", as ingo would say. :)

Is it already in the Louwman-collection?
Seems to be an interesting excursion-destination  Maybe DynaMike knows more
(btw.: there's still the heap of classic car magazines in my cellar, I've sorted out for you ;) )

Yes, it's on display at the Louwman museum:

The Louwman collection is really one of the most interesting car museums, I'd say :)
Recently they moved to a new building in Wassenaar, near The Hague.

I'm guessing that's why Evert Louwman says it will remain "barn fresh".

This Louwman collection in Marlot, a part of The Hague, Netherland is only at 1 kilometer from our house in Marlot in The Hague. It's not far away from the Residence Palace of the Queen. It's a geant collection. The owner was the importator of Dodge between 1920 and the end of the fifties. After that, he become Toyota importator. That's the reason of that Toyota in the collection.

A MUST if you go in the Netherlands

Would be a good choice for an IMCDB-user-meeting :)
Well, I've already suggested to 130rapid to go there together, when he will be the next time around here. From here it's not far, exactly 200 km and two hours driving. And then I can hand over DynaMike all the magazines, I've sorted out for him. ;)

Actually I don't know when & where my Essen driver will go. :P

If he will not have time, no problem, then come alone. It's possible to get a flight Poznan-Düsseldorf for less than 70€. This is cheaper than the fuel for the 770km distance to here and probably cheaper than the train-ticket.
What's about the weekend 8.-10.June? Then we can combinate it with my favourite event http://www.oldtimermarkt-bockhorn.com/ Link to "www.flickr.com" Link to "www.flickr.com" :)

This should probably listed as Toyoda (name at the time).
