Have you ever heard about ID or DSpecial? |
◊ 2013-08-14 15:04 |
1972+, which omits ID |

Weren't difference between ID and DS only on the mechanical side? |

No, trim as well - but very little in later years (DSpecial & DSuper). The wheel caps, chrome trim and reversing lights on this one however still let me think it may be a DS. -- Last edit: 2013-08-14 19:09:32 |

Is possible white (instead black) roof for Italian market in DS cars? |
◊ 2013-08-17 13:43 |
White was also available on some DS, depending of the body colour, but not anymore in 1972. DSpécial (which always did have a white roof) can be excluded (they had black trumpets for the rear indicators), and DSuper still would have ahd the small hubcaps, like the DSpécial and older ID models. Also DSpécial, DSuper and all DS with bigger than standard engines had a badge on the bootlid. So the 1985 cc from the plate info is correct with the plain bootlid: this must be a DS20 with an incorrect re-spray. -- Last edit: 2013-08-17 13:45:55 |
