Wales & Edwards Rangemaster, like Link to "en.wikipedia.org" . Phone number looks more like Newcastle-upon-Tyne than London, where Express Dairies/Unigate had a near monopoly. |

I haven't been able to find the production dates for the Rangemaster; the earliest one shown on http://www.milkfloats.org.uk/random3.html is L reg'd, so 1972/3. |

The Rangemaster existed in this form in July 1971, best guess is 1970 or 1971 for introduction date until late 1980s. An earlier 'Rangemaster' also existed as an extended range type of the visually identical 'standard' model with the smaller narrow cab, from 1957 to early 1970s. -- Last edit: 2020-07-30 12:37:47 |
