No Chevrolet? It's a movie of 2006... |

But the car isn't necessarily brand new. |

Matiz II came in 2005 and was sold as a Chevrolet from the beginning. This one is the old model introduced in 1998 but having a facelift (2003-2004). Chevrolet name came in 2005 so it is possible that it's a Chevrolet but I think it's more likely a Daewoo. There's no way to tell which one it is. |

Daewoo Matiz had this appearance before the name has been changed to a Chevrolet Spark. So it is a late Matiz Link to "www.caradisiac.com" or early Spark (if it has this name in Russia) http://www.sgmw.com.cn/products/images/spark-eng.jpg Edit: You was first Raul1983. -- Last edit: 2006-12-13 22:47:43 |

Spark or Matiz depending on which market. Is it Matiz in Poland ? |
◊ 2006-12-13 21:18 |
In Poland the situation is a bit specific, because we have... both: a FSO Matiz (older version, but still in produce) and "new" Chevrolet Spark. -- Last edit: 2006-12-13 21:34:56 |

Hmm, a bit complicated then. Is this scene filmed in Poland or Russia ? Also some factories are still using Daewoo name in Matiz (Uzbekistan i think). |
◊ 2006-12-13 21:27 |
No, no It's a Russian movie. So... why in Poland? |
◊ 2006-12-13 21:35 |
I don't know I guess the movie title sounded Polish or something. Sorry about that. |

No problem , actually we also have a word "dozor" = "dozór" and with the same meaning. -- Last edit: 2006-12-13 21:43:29 |

http://www.dat.chevrolet.ru/spark/spark-index.html It's the Chevrolet Spark in Russia. http://www.uzdaewooauto.ru/salon/matiz/ The Matiz is still built by the Uz-Daewoo joint venture. |

Probably not 4WD, but any vehicle can be driven on snow I guess. Some just work better than other. this one is probably in the "other" category, though that its low weight may help. -- Last edit: 2007-04-08 23:24:22 |

At the very least, it's a front engined FWD car, which has half-decent traction for going through snow. After that, you'd be surprised what momentum can do for you. |

According to Wikipedia, this is a 2006 Model built by Uz-Daewoo, used in the film as product placement |
