Impossible. In the movie, the other one crashes into the river that flows under the bridge seen here. This is is good condition seen at the end of the film, so it must be a different one. |

And you don't think they can - film scenes in a different order or - use a stunt double for the crash ? ![]() -- Last edit: 2014-10-28 17:48:25 |

I can confirm, there was a double made for this bridge scene! This is my Dad's car he rebuilt when I was about 7 ! I remember I was a huge Pink Ranger fan at the time and was so excited to be able to meet Amy Jo Johnson! They had about 2 weeks to get a double car ready to roll off the edge of the bridge. So my dad and his friend were only able to locate a suitable body of a 1955 4 door hard top and did body work to make it look like a 1956 2 door hard top on the outside. No innards were restored as they were not needed. If you look close enough, you can tell the minor details of the 4dr vrs 2dr around the windows.. but its such a quick scene you have to know you are looking for it. The side of the car looks no different thanks to a smooth body work and paint job. What a great memory to look back on! I just happened to look this up as I was looking for an image of the car being shown in the movie to my colleagues! -- Last edit: 2018-06-11 19:31:28 |
