A range of Steyr Type XII landaulette taxis were made 1926-28. This seems to have a bar between the lamps so would be one of the earlier ones. Regards Vintman |

The XII 'Double Phaeton' seen here http://www.zuckerfabrik24.de/steyrpuch/steyrXII_1.htm would possibly fit. -- Last edit: 2015-05-16 15:06:24 |

Dont think so. The Double Phaeton has a conventional convertible top. This car has a canvas top to the drivers position only with popppers, and a solid section behind the driver on top of which is a rooftop luggage carrier. Typical Landaulette. Cannot possibly be a simple Double Phaeton which is a softop. Sorry Didier! |

Your eyes and mind are as sharp as… a very sharp thing, vintman. I'm not sorry but happy to see you narrow the model and make your point. So, 1926+ Steyr XII Taxi-Landaulet? |

With "Typ" included, is more customary. /vehicles_make-Steyr_model-Typ.html |

But… it was filmed in Berlin! It's like looking for London Austins in Nuffielded Glasgow! |
