Looks like a 1948 Chevrolet/GMC |

1947-55 Chevrolet Advance-Design / GMC New Design indeed. With what seems to be the 1949+ fuel filler cap on the rear of the cab. Hard to tell a lot more from that picture. • If a Chevrolet truck with the 161"/4.09 m wheelbase, then a "heavy-duty" 1½-ton 4400 or a 2-ton 6400. With a 179"/4.55 m wheelbase, then a 1951+ 6500. But the thumb shows that it doesn't have the 1951+ vent on the door windows. • As GMC, any medium-duty truck (1½-ton 300 or 2-ton 350) or a 1949+ (light) heavy-duty 3-ton (400, 450 or 470), whatever the wheelbase: up to 179" for the 300, up to 197"/5.00 m for the other models. Maybe should we see here a GMC truck, as the wheelbase seems to be very long. But was this make imported in Portugal? ⇒ 1949 GMC New Design? -- Last edit: 2015-11-23 05:45:42 |

Nice bodywork, reminds me a bit of this - I have its scaled-down cousin. -- Last edit: 2015-11-23 14:06:36 |
