Maybe one of these? - http://www.allpar.com/photos/vimages/karrier/GYR.jpg - circa 1929 Karrier Model GYR 2 1/2 ton. Not an easy one to find info about. |

Karrier is a good possibility but cannot find the exact body. Late 1920s likely solid tyres low load height, other makes possible. ![]() Karrier 2-Ton (1929). |

It looks to me to be possibly earlier than the Karrier GYR 2½-ton introduced in January 1929 Guy, Thornycroft and Vulcan plus of course the SD Freighter also has small-wheeled low loaders but not of this forward control engine-wheelbase type, I think. ![]() Picture reversed and lightened showing London/LCC Corporation? Nothing found to date showing which manufactures London/LCC purchased in the 1920s. |

1924 Thornycroft A1 forward control 30cwt chassis looks almost identical? http://www.thornycroft.org.uk/Black%20White%20GPA/Refuse1.jpg |
