The only view as he carefully applies blackout paint. I'm guessing a fire engine?? |

Note the distinctive style of the wheel spokes. Haven't noticed them on anything else before. |

Looks probably to be a London taxi in use as a wartime fire engine... Too small for a fire engine, the luggage platform with a hose and passenger door at the side. Most likely an Austin 12/4 taxi but unsure about the spoked wheel design and how it fits in, could be a clue. |

It looked to me like a big long thing with fire bits in th distance, but if it's a taxi is it this one - /vehicle_898192-Austin-12-4-Taxi.html - with its adopted fire pump?? (although sequencing in film is back to front - if it's the same this should come afterwards) |

Confirmed Austin 12/4 Taxi Low Loader Volunteer Fire Engine.![]() Area as shown above on a London taxi. Possibly 110V on the side 110th Voluntary unit? Therefore similar to this example... ![]() |

Different taxis I believe as the other one identified in the movie is a 'High Lot' and this one is almost certainly a later 'Low-Loader' (but not a 'Flash-Lot'). |
