It would be interesting to know if Chrysler Australia exported their Dodge Phoenixes to SA.

If you're wondering about where the cars seen in this film came from, remember that it was shot in Zimbabwe, not South Africa.

But that can't keep out the possibility of being imported as 2nd-hand from South Africa or that South African and Rhodesian branches worked as a single unit.

Sure, but don't assume that everything was the same as in South Africa.

This car is certainly right hand drive. I don't know if there was any other RHD production of these other than Australia. I did find this article - http://www.allpar.com/world/south-africa.html - and it seems there was some RHD production of Chrysler other than Valiants but nothing specific.

That's either a North American Plymouth Fury or an Australian Dodge Phoenix, neither of which were sold in South Africa. Chrysler South Africa offered only the Valiant and the full-size Dodge in that period.
