The Chevrolet badge might be some kind of aftermarket thing (it's plausible - I once saw a Mercury Villager with Mercedes badges on it!!) -- Last edit: 2007-03-12 00:05:19 |

That is indeed a Chevy badge on a pimped J-series SWB Toyota Landcruiser. (maybe a Toyolet? ) |

Very popular engine conversion. Complete kits readily available for Chevy v8 small block into the FJ40! The badge is for those that can't hear it go by... ) |

Never expected to see the beast on here. For the record, that is my dads Crusher. (As he called it.) Never noticed the bowtie before, but according to my folks, he put that on there because he had a Chevy engine in it. Small block V8 if I remember correctly. The logo on the door was the name of the off-road club my folks belonged to back in the mid seventies. The other name for it was Chevota. I miss that beast. |

My Cruiser. Built early 70’s, Chevy 283. Studio was not careful with it, was in shop for several months being repaired. Was my daily driver at the time, plus many weekend desert trips. Foolishly sold 1980 - wish I’d never sold it! |
