The only references that I can find just call it dual-ghia convertible. does anyone have a clue about a different model name? |

Dual was the company the that had Ghia build the bodies, they bought the frame and running gear from Chrysler. Dual build trucks and was involve in importing and exporting. |

The convertible was sold from 1956-58. A coupe was sold from 60-63. The convertibles were final assembled in Detroit and the coupes were built completely in Italy. They were popular in Hollywood. They were owned by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Lucile Ball, etc. built in small numbers, 104 convertibles, 26 coupes. |

I know a guy and his classmate who truanted to see this film (and 'Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World' on another day) when Purley still had cinemas. He couldn't figure what make at the time, so thanks Richard of C and friends. (Errant student finally attained passes in Maths and the Sciences, by then GCSEs, at 60+. Never too late.) |
