BYK291 is a genuine Austin taxi registration from 1935 however it appears to be a 'High Lot' chassis which ceased in 1933-34. The second thumbnail looks wrong to me and possibly a different car (windscreen not divided horizontally and different shape?). Potentially ALE165 again with a false numberplate? |

Looking again at this taxi I previously missed that it was a Jones Body and more likely a low loader. Preserved taxi Austin 12/4 Jones Body AXL464 often turns up with false registration numbers, so possibly this could be 'AXL464' again. The reason I see from past comments for AXL464 not being used recently is that the registration was transferred to another car in December 2011. -- Last edit: 2018-03-24 14:51:28 |
