Are you sure about the 1976 date? This colour was, as far as I know, only available as MY 1975. Otherwise it has chromed, rather than black, holders for the lamps illuminating the rear licence plate. These were available only until late 1975 on the MY 1976. |

My family owned a 1975 245DL (HRT 126N). The front bumper on that had an additional piece of rubber around the number plate formed as "overriders" like those on the back bumper of this car. It also had small wheel centre caps with exposed chrome wheel nuts. I remember most 1976 240s had slightly larger hub caps that covered the wheelnuts.
