Only one episode is currently listed on IMDB, however the British Film Institute records that "Worker and War-Front" was produced by Paul Rotha's company for the Ministry of Information, in the United Kingdom. The film archive for this series is held by the Imperial War Museum Film and Video Archive Loans Catalogue "Like the parallel Warwork News, many of the items were linked to factory production to stress to the audience/workers the importance of their contribution to the war effort. Eighteen editions were released on a more or less quarterly basis between May 1942 and January 1946." http://www.screenonline.org.uk/film/id/1023576/ Its likely that only some episodes will include vehicles but some show vehicles in war-time situations including military, commercial, private cars and modified civilian vehicles that contrast with the movie industry war-films produced after the war. It also could include film footage used in later documentaries. |

Yes, very nice and interesting pictures indeed! (But why this 1.xx tag? It's only a matter of episodes, not seasons. I'll change this, withrawing the "1.", with your agreement. This means that I'll put the "1." back if you don't agree, Sunbar.) |

Thanks, JCB and DidierF. No problem with removing the '1' DidierF - I didn't consider the correct way - on autopilot I guess. Lots of Aircraft action shots... A few more vehicles to find plus the missing episodes if they become available. |
