When Reese falls asleep in the LTD, he dreams about the war. The battered, burnt car him and his comrades use to escape the H.K is a 1976 Pontiac Le Mans 4-door,rigged with a dozen fog lights, off road tires, and a sweet turret gun. -- Last edit: 2007-07-31 09:00:19 |

I replaced the few pictures by better ones, and added all the missing vehicles. A toy truck crushed by the Chevrolet wagon driven by the Terminator: -- Last edit: 2007-08-03 21:49:12 |

The truck that drops off Sarah and Reese at the Tiki Motel is a GMC Astro/Chevy Titan. The car that Reese trips over when he's running from the cops is a Dodge Monaco (1974-1975) The car that the terminater uses to crash into the police precinct is a Plymouth Gran Fury. There is also a Chevrolet Step Van/GMC Value Van. You have to pause to see it. Its in the Tiki Motel parking lot a few cars before the 1975 Chevelle. And last but not least, the toy truck is an International Transtar made by ERTL in the late 70's and 80's. -- Last edit: 2007-08-31 20:57:22 |

Also, the Dodge Monaco is a 1977-1978 |

Why must you always try and correct me? |
◊ 2007-09-06 00:10 |
... maybe to have correct info on the site? What is the interest of having uncorrected wrong info? That is not very serious for the site. |
◊ 2007-09-06 22:22 |
None of us knows everything that appears on the site, Q-Ball. I'd hate to investigate my own failure rate, but surely this is what the site's all about: between us, we're pretty knowledgeable, and we can learn from each other. I've only been visiting the site for a week or two but I've learned more about American cars in that time than in the sixty-odd years preceding; I've had a few misconceptions about British and European cars corrected as well, and I thought I knew a good deal about them. |

Roger. During the garage chase, you can see a 1973 Nova. Its easy to spot becvause one headlight is out. -- Last edit: 2007-09-15 22:39:19 |

Just wondering if anybody know what sort of bike did Arnie ride during the tunnel chase? Red honda or kawasaki bike? what model? |
◊ 2008-01-27 18:41 |
Isn't it the Honda CB 750? (as it is the only bike listed) |
◊ 2008-02-24 03:09 |
What is the make and model of the car used when Sarah and Reese flee the police station? The same car they dump off the side of the road before staying the night under the bridge? I don't see it listed... -- Last edit: 2008-02-24 03:10:08 |

LOL... I'm an idiot! It's the very first one listed... guess it's time to have these glasses upgraded huh? Thank you very much ford guy for pointing it out |

My friend actually seems to think it is a volkswagen rabbit? Any chance he's right? |
◊ 2008-02-24 06:07 |
Looking at the picture, I'd say that's a definite no. I suspect your friend's probably never even heard of the AMC Gremlin; a surprising amount of people haven't. |

Note that in some movies to find a particular car you can select "apparition" in the drop-down list at the top right corner to sort the car by time of apparition. It only works on movies for which the time of each picture was entered. |

There is deleted scenes not used at all in the film, not even the special edition series 1-Lt. Traxler drives a 1979 Chrysler Newport unmarked police car to Tech Noir where the terminator unleashed all hell in an attempt to kill Sarah. 2-Also, after spending the night in a culvert, Reese trys to steal a 1964 dodge D-100, but it wont start despite his car stealing tactics, leaving him and Sarah to hitchhike(where they of course end up at the Tiki motel) 3-a little more meat at the end of the movie-just watch. These can be viewed on Youtube. 1- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYfvWCKAc7E 2- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8xuXk0txkwU&feature=related 3- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NxCl_SmqAY&feature=related -- Last edit: 2008-03-09 23:26:55 |

Interestingley enough, while your friend is wrong, the original script referred to the police station getaway car as a "VW Rabbit" |
◊ 2013-04-12 20:33 |
What about the pickup truck the Terminator was hiding behind in his dream about the future? EDIT: Reese grazes a Volkswagen Squareback when he was driving away from the Terminator, and I also saw a Rabbit somewhere in the movie. I think it was when either Reese or Arnold drove out of the parking garage. -- Last edit: 2013-04-13 08:07:23 |

There is also a 2 Door Mitsubishi Pajero on the carpark scene. |

Where? |
Pagelion ◊ 2015-06-30 07:41 |
It wasn't accepted: Even though for some reason this was (when it's more blurry): /vehicle_600967-Mercedes-Benz-W123.html It looks like a conversion on the back of an otherwise common truck, still it's interesting. -- Last edit: 2015-06-30 07:48:50 |

The pickup looks like a 1984 Toyota Truck. Not sure if it is a custom modification or is some sort of a factory special edition. |
◊ 2015-07-22 14:44 |
Interesting that the movie was released only one year after Mitsubishi entered the US market, and contains 2 of them (Tredia and Montero)... Product placement? |
◊ 2015-07-22 14:45 |
Where's the Montero? I only see the Tredia. |
◊ 2015-07-22 17:03 |
I highly doubt Mitsubishi sponsored this movie because they were just background cars. The Montero was seen briefly in the parking garage scene but was too background to list. |
Pagelion ◊ 2015-07-27 15:22 |
https://youtu.be/JB8gzAGSvgI 5:38 to approx. 6:25 in this track is great. |
◊ 2015-09-03 13:42 |
There were actually two Monteros, interestingly both in parking garages (one outside Sarah's apartment, in the space next to her scooter. The other in the parking garage where Reese steels the Cadillac, visable in the background). |
