Ça ne serait pas par hasard la Ford de l'autre capture après transformation ?

Le haut de la calandre est bien Ford, mais là, je pense qu'il ne s'agit que d'un décor sans mécanique (Elle est montée sur chandelles)...

This is two to three stars at best. It's only seen in a fantasy sequence and briefly at the end. XD

I always thought it was a older and bigger modified variant of one of these:

I think a much uglier car would have to be a Pontiac Aztek crossed with a Ford Edsel.

(Though I will agree, Greased Lightning isn't exactly beautiful, but where would we be without cars before 1950?)

Greased Lightning, the red edition - I brought my groom broom, let's clear this one up: Various replicas exist and various model years from 1946 to 1948 as well as various body styles (coupe or convertible) are mentioned by different sources, with one replica even being described as having started out as 1941 Ford.

The original movie car is now displayed at Volo Auto Museum of Volo, Illinois. and they claim it started out as 1946 Ford. And I'd go by that.

Volo Auto Museum wrote Known as Greased Lightning, this wild custom started off as a 46 Ford Coupe. It is powered by a Chevrolet 350 topped off with a set of dual quads. All the body modifications were done with steel and not fiberglass.

This car had been missing from the public's eyes for decades. It belonged to a private New York collector who had sent it to California to have it restored by one of the original people who built the car. During the restoration process, the owner died. With a balance due and the car unfinished the restoration came to a halt and it sat for many years.

Volo Auto Museum was tipped off to the cars whereabouts. Volo Auto Museum was able to purchase the car and have the restoration completed.

The car was screen used during a Glee Grease tribute episode.

Authentication includes documents from Fox Studios.

The unit seen in Jay Leno's Garage at the Petersen Automotive Museum in L.A. is a Replica, more precisely the one with a rectangular grille! According to Jay Leno, 'Greased Lightning' was built by George Barris & Dick Dean and I guess that's where this rumour started, supported by the fact that said replica once was part of the Barris Motor Car Collection and Barris even trademarked and licensed it to merchandise producers. Dick Dean actually did build a 'Greased Lightning' replica, though, and that was the one from Barris sold to the Petersen Automotive Museum.

But still: Contrary to popular belief 'Greased Lightning' is not an original Barris Kustom and apparently Dick Dean wasn't involved in the construction of the original one either. Eddie Paul, trading as 'E.P. Industries' of San Francisco, "located, restored and customized thirty vintage cars" seen in the movie and also was involved with the stunt department and that's where 'Greased Lightning' was created.
