Isn't this a Dacia version going by the grille emblem? I've never seen a French built R12 with 4 round headlamps except US export models : http://www.forum-auto.com/uploads/200507/r17_1122236503_r12s.jpg |

actually from 1971 to 1978 renault 12 was produced in france. after 1978 it has been started to be produced in Turkey. and i think iafter 81 the headlights are like the ones on this one.so this car if it is a 76 made in france but upgraded with Turkish aftermarket parts. And Dacia is a branch of Renault which is originated from Romania. technically all chassis is the same only the accessories and emblem vary. hopefully this info worked for you guys |

I believe were called "Toros" only those versions which had the large plastic bumpers, here it should be removed. More probable it's the TX version (as extra info) of 1985+: http://renault12-toros.blogspot.com/ Edit: For the wagon version, TSW: http://www.araba.com/2434816/Renault%20R12%20TSW?r=1 -- Last edit: 2011-06-20 21:41:19 |
